Our family

We believe farming is about more than raising animals. It’s about connection—to our food, our land, our community, and the generations who will come after us.

We’re a family-owned farm in College Station, Texas, built from a lifelong love of agriculture and a desire to create something meaningful for our own family and our community.

Brandon is a veterinarian, and I am a nurse. Together, we’ve always found a place in the agricultural community—first through our own experiences in 4-H and FFA, through our involvement in agriculture, and even through art that celebrates the people and stories behind it. Agriculture has always been something we believed was worth knowing, supporting, and preserving.

When we moved to College Station, we knew we wanted to build a farm of our own. Today, our children are involved in 4-H, learning firsthand the responsibility, patience, hard work, and pride that come with caring for animals

For our family, this farm is the beginning of something we hope will last far beyond us.

Why we Farm

We believe people should know where their food comes from and recognize the families and individuals who work every day to provide it.

At the same time, family farms are disappearing, rural communities are changing, and development continues to create distance between people and agriculture. We don’t want our children—or the generations after them—to grow up disconnected from the people, animals, and land that make our food possible.

Our farm is our small part in keeping that connection alive.

We are committed to raising quality animals and producing food we are proud to bring to our own family’s table. But our vision goes beyond what we produce. We want to encourage the next generation to experience agriculture, support others who are working to become part of it, and help preserve the values and traditions that make agricultural communities so special.

Our Vision

A Lazy Bee Farms started with our family's desire to raise animals, produce quality food, and create something of our own.

But our vision is growing.

We want to build a farm known for quality meat, responsible animal care, family involvement, and supporting the next generation of agriculture.

As we grow, we hope to create opportunities for young livestock exhibitors to participate in agricultural business by helping connect their quality-raised show animals with consumers.

We want people to understand that behind every show animal is a young person who has invested months of work, responsibility, and heart into that project.

We want to tell those stories.

We want consumers to know where their food comes from.

And we want young people to see that the skills they are learning through agriculture can become part of their future.

Meet the Team

Luke

Luke is a junior at A&M Consolidated. He started his lamb breeding program about 3 years ago. His goal is produce high quality show lambs with superior genetics to his fellow showman.

When he is not working and caring for his animals he enjoys playing guitar, playing ice hockey (he's a goalie) and hanging with his friends.

He plans to grow his skills in welding, construction, and growing his ag business.

4H Projects he is involved in:

Emma

Emma is your typical middle child. She is a sophomore at A&M Consolidated high school as well. She is ice hockey player and her goal is to attend college to become an athletic trainer for a hockey team. She is an athletic trainer for her high school.

Her 4H journey has prepared her with knowledge of food and nutrition. Helping with cooking and living healthy.

Abigail

The youngest but also the goofy one. Abigail is a 7th grader at Wellborn MS. She loves making friends and is very active in many things. She also plays ice hockey when she is not taking care of animals or participating in 4H activities.
